"Serve to Change Lives" was the Rotary International theme for July 1st, 2021 through June 30th, 2022 - the Rotary Club of Dunkirk-Fredonia did just that! Throughout the Rotary Year, under the immense leadership and guidance of President Diane Hannum, Rotarians helped change communities and lives for the bettter.
 
We will gather together on Thursday, July 7th at 4:30 PM at Point Gratiot to honor President Diane, and all of her accomplishments as we prepare to "Imagine Rotary" under the leadership of incoming President, Melanie Witkowski. Being a Rotarian is a privilege like no other, we put others'  needs before our own and follow the motto - Service Above Self!  Take a look at all of our accomplishments:

  • American Red Cross Blood Drives
  • Pedal for Polio events
  • Sponsored Dunkirk to Dunkerque Day
  • Fredonia Farm Festival
  • Non-Fly In Breakfast for those in need
  • Featured at District & Club Celebrations
  • Participated in dozens of Rotary District 7090 meetings and virtual trainings
  • Red Kettle Bell Ringers
  • Physical Ed and Classroom equipment to Agri-Business Child Development Center
  • Donated Boxing Gloves and Cooking Equipment to 2XL and Kids @ Promise through a District Grant
  • $1k Donation to Districct 7090 Heritage Endowment Fund
  • Little Lending Libraries
  • Completed District 7090 Grant Seminars
  • Chicken BBQs - all proceeds benefit community organizations
