Ken Morris was named President and CEO of Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. upon his promotion from Chief Operating Officer on August 1, 2022.  As Vice President of Operations, he came to Brooks-TLC in 2018 from Baylor Scott & White Healthcare System in Dallas, where he was the director of North Texas Division of Neuroscience and Baylor University Medical Center. Ken also served as assistant vice president for Atrium Health’s 36- hospital system in North and South Carolina.


In his first six months at the helm of Brooks-TLC, Ken facilitated the partnership with St. Lawrence Radiology Associates to provide radiology and imaging services, has successfully worked with Cornell Cooperative Extension to extend the land-purchase option contract for the new hospital, negotiated with the City of Dunkirk, Mayor Willie Rosas, and other local officials, to transfer the existing site of Brooks Memorial Hospital to the  Dunkirk Local Development Corporation once the new hospital is built, and entered into a Contract to Purchase for the sale of the former Lakeshore Hospital campus in Irving.


Ken has overseen the promotion of staff to several key- leadership positions within the Brooks-TLC organization, is deep into the recruitment of providers to complement the existing Brooks-TLC service lines and is overseeing an ambitious marketing awareness campaign to connect the community with providers and services available, all, while focused on the release of funding from the New York State Department of Health and bringing the new hospital to fruition. Additionally, Ken is committed to an open and transparent administration, building relationships with staff through quarterly Town Halls, and with local media and community groups.     

                                                                                                           
With over 20-years of healthcare leadership experience, Ken holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administrative Services from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah and an executive Certificate of Finance for Non-Financial Managers from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Additionally, he is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ken resides in Fredonia with his wife, Larissa, and children.
