The Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club meets every Thursday IN PERSON in the Conference Room at University Village, SUNY Fredonia, 47 Brigham Road, Fredonia.(Zoom link available)
 
For $15, we are able to listen to and interact with a noteworthy speaker, enjoy a delicious lunch, hot coffee, and a dessert, and share infinite amounts of upcoming Rotary Service Projects, socials, events, and friendship. 
 
Even during Covid the Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club has positively impacted the community in numerous ways, including over $10k to the Chautauqua County Hospice House, $10k to the Chautauqua County Covid Relief Fund, nearly 200 people helped us during the Great Lakes Watershed Clean Up, installation of a Little Lending Library at Wheelock School, Pedal for Polio, sponsored an American Red Cross Blood Drive, attended numerous Rotary District events, supported the Migrant Education Program & Kids At Promise through grants, and have had outstanding weekly speakers including Dunkirk City - Clerk Edwin Ramos, Wendy Corsi Staub, Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce President - Daniel Heitzenrater, Project Hope Coordinator - Kelly Potter, North Shore Arts Alliance President - Marica Marrins, Sheriff James Quattrone, and so many others.  Our Club helped worked with Jim Rawcliffe, a community advocate and Rotarian at the end of his life, to bring about a one of a kind banquet where Jim was able to participate from his room at Roswell via Zoom. 
 
Rotary International's motto is Service Above Self, and members try diligently to put the needs of their communities, and the world, above their own needs and desires.
